2. Shikhar Dhawan 

Second on the list is India’s former ODI opener, Shikhar Dhawan, who has 6617 runs in his bag. With an average of 35.38 and a strike rate of 127.17, Shikhar is just behind Virat Kohli. Shikhar is currently part of the Punjab Kings and previously represented Delhi and Hyderabad. 

3. David Warner 

David Warner is a perfect entertainer and has a massive fan following. The most cherished player in the league, this former captain of Sunrisers Hyderabad, scored 6397 runs in 176 innings. He averages 41.53 with a strike rate of 139.91. The Australian opener has won Orange Cap in three seasons. Warner smashed four centuries and 61 half-centuries in the league.  

4. Rohit Sharma 

The Current Indian skipper across formats is at no. 4 on this list. Rohit scored 6211 runs in 238 innings at an average of 29.57 and a strike rate of 130.04. Rohit Sharma, Mumbai Indians captain, has won 5 IPL trophies and played a significant role in the franchise’s success.  

5. Suresh Raina 

Fans call Suresh Raina Mr. IPL for his consistency and power hitting in the middle order. He made 5528 runs in 200 innings with a 32.51 average and a 136.73 strike rate. Raina contributed to CSK’s success on many occasions.
